what would I be doing each month of the year?

And so, the theme is set for Jacqueline Paton's newest fabric collection! Her original folk art is beautifully executed in her inimitable style and it has translated perfectly to fabric. The panel design consists of twelve

6" x 8" rectangular blocks. Half are oriented vertically and the others are set horizontally. Each block represents one month of a year with the crow's activities aptly geared toward that particular month. Plus, there are three small label blocks! In addition, there are several other thematic prints – a random patch print; a diagonal sewing grid with wavy lines and a large, scenic tossed print. These are charming patterns on their own, but even more wonderful when combined with any of the beautiful coordinate prints. As always, Jacqueline has provided ample patterns and a great range of tonal and semi-tonal designs.

Consider using the sewing grid print or the allover button print to make pincushions, sewing organizers, thread catchers or curtains for a sewing room! Those two prints would look especially nice combined with the tonal geometric that was created based on the Orange Peel block. Very cute! The lovely colors of both the oak leaf and sunflower prints lend themselves well to making all sorts of items such as placemats, table runners, accent pillows, and they'd look great in quilts!
