Ghosts & goblins, witches & cats….. they're all part of Amy Barickman's newest fabric collection! It's just so much fun! Vintage imagery from the 1920's – 1930's is used to create these striking patterns. Amy's book, Vintage Notions, features many of these motifs in the "October" chapter. The one-of-a-kind panel is simply stunning with its silhouette characters, "Happy Halloween" text and creative frames. It won't take much effort to use it for a wall or door banner! Project ideas? There are just so many things you can do with these fabrics! Plan a Halloween party using the fabrics as your inspiration! Make your invitations by using double-sided fusible stabilizer between a tonal and multicolor print. Cut out shapes with pinking shears and write your party info with a fine, felt-tip pen. Make decorations using the same fusible technique! Finally, be sure to get in the mood by making yourself an apron to wear not only at the party but also to answer the door on Halloween night!
