Jennifer Chiaverini's newest novel, Sonoma Rose, reflects the story of Rosa Diaz Barclay and her family that takes place during the Prohibition era of the 1920's. The setting for much of the story is northern California with its vast beauty of rolling hills and vineyards. Rosa's Collection fabrics incorporate the rich color palette of that area by using burgundy, black, deep green and plum. The main and secondary prints include grape cluster motifs accented with lush leaves and vines. These motifs are also used in the striking, mid-scale repeating stripe. An allover label print copies vintage labels that would be found on crates being used to ship all sorts of produce during that time period. Scale and color value are well represented within the wide selection of coordinate prints.

These lovely prints will work beautifully for kitchen/dining room décor including cloth napkins (go green!). However, the designs are ideal to room in any room of the house. Make a new market bag to carry with you for your next trip to the grocery store or farmers' market!
