To be precise, too many snowmen! Not really as the more, the merrier in this warm and charming collection from Jacqueline Paton. The delightful panel shows snowmen peeking around trees, gazing at the starry sky and conversing with their other snow friends. The panel will be effective on its own with the addition of simple borders using a few of the coordinate prints. The panel is also ideal to cut apart and use the single large and four small blocks to create stunning wall art!
     The two-part border stripe can be the basis for a striking tree skirt. For an 8-sided skirt, use a 45 degree Kaleidoscope or pyramid ruler to cut sections of the stripe. For a 6-sided skirt, use a 60 degree triangle ruler. To enlarge the size of the wedges to create the size skirt that you want, add additional strips to the bottom of each wedge prior to sewing wedges together. The double-border, icicle print is terrific! Use a basic stocking pattern to cut two stockings (front/back) per width of fabric. Cut identical stockings from a coordinate print for lining. Use the "icicle" cuff area to write a name or holiday greeting!
