This 54" x 63" quilt was designed and made by the collection's artist, Helen Stubbings, and machine quilted by Tracey Browning of Constantine Quilts. Helen has provided a full-size hexagon template for her large "hexies". All you need to do is iron fusible web to the prints you select, cut them to template size, space them 1" apart, and fuse to the background. Helen provides great instructions for the straight and even placement of the hexagons using creased lines and a water erasable pen.
Helen recommends using Steam-a-Seam 2 for easiest placement of the hexies. Personalize your quilt by using some of the friendly faces and cute things she features in the panel in place of the companion prints shown in the hexagons here. Add your own flair with a hand or machine buttonhole stitch around the raw edges of the hexies with matching, contrasting, or variegated thread. Finish by quilting as shown in Helen's stitching diagram.
