Here comes Santa! He's almost here! You can almost feel the excitement with Arlene Neely's charming, holiday collection! The thematic panel contains three sizes of rectangular Santa blocks. There are so many creative options! Use the largest panel to make a banner or enlarge it with frames made with coordinate prints. Add backing, batting and hanging tabs and one gift is complete! Use the four medium sized blocks in a quilt and complement them with simply pieced tree and/or star blocks. Or, finish each of them as single items and hang from an Ackfeld wire display hanger or stand. The six small blocks will also work well in a quilt but are ideal to make hot pads or goodie bags!

The Santa double-border stripe has many possibilities for use although it was designed for making Christmas stockings. The several inches of background that extend above the stripe provide enough fabric to turn to the inside and create a nice finished top edge to the stocking. Just use your favorite pattern or trace an existing stocking!
