Sewing and stitchery create the theme of this charming collection from Terri Degenkolb. Separate motifs of thread baskets, "embroidered" pictures and a vintage sewing machine are widely spaced across a background of subtly, printed words. This unique main pattern lends itself to cutting out the motifs individually to use as centers of quilt blocks, appliqués on any number of items or even fused onto gift bags or tags. The two-part repeating stripe repeats the same motifs and the nine full repeats across the width of the fabric makes it extremely versatile.
