Jennifer's lovely fabrics are beautifully displayed in this medallion-style quilt designed by Laura Blanchard. The stenciled look of the mock-appliqué blocks is highlighted perfectly in this setting. The dynamic center star is balanced by the equal weight of the inner border. Easy to cut and piece, this beautiful quilt will be completed in a reasonable amount of time.

 

Try outline quilting around the edges of the block motifs to add depth and definition. Or, choose a small quilting design that will fit over the blocks to accent them in a more dramatic fashion. The setting triangles can be easily quilted with multiple straight lines either parallel or perpendicular to the frames. The outer border is highly patterned so keep the quilting
