Ingrid's© charming artwork was the basis for these delightful fabrics. June Pease's quilt lends a nostalgic feeling and would look right at home hanging on a large wall or draped over the sofa. Basic rotary-cutting and machine skills are all that's needed to get your started! The center features the thematic Santa panel while the border uses the striking, border stripe while assorted coordinate prints were used for the pieced pine tree frame.
Pamela Burnham's machine quilting beautifully enhances this quilt. However, since the quilt is lap size, you may feel comfortable quilting it yourself on the machine or by hand. Start by outlining the major motifs in both the panel and border to add definition and dimension. In-the-ditch quilting can be used in the tree blocks while a more detailed pattern would look nice in the large, setting triangles. Download Pattern (373 KB pdf file)
