This newest fabric collection from Whimsicals focuses on the wonders and magic of life! The 66" quilt designed by Cyndi Hershey uses the 6" theme blocks as the centers of the star blocks. Four large pieced hearts are balanced by the four multi-heart blocks used in the corners of the quilt. The dark brown fabric used in the chain blocks forms a diamond illusion that helps to move the eye around the design. Panel blocks are used again as the corners of the outer border and are flanked by the thematic repeating stripe fabric.

Pat Burns provided the machine quilting using a graceful, large-scale overall design that complements the overall delicacy of the fabrics. If quilting this design on your own machine, you can ditch-quilt the major seam lines first. Then, echo-quilting would look terrific within each of the large and small hearts. Diagonal straight stitching through the dark brown squares will help to emphasize that design feature of the quilt.
