![]() Jill designed this pretty 60" x 60" scrappy quilt to showcase the florals in her charming new collection. She has alternated thirteen Star and twelve 4-Patch variation blocks to look like a flower garden. Each 8" block is based on a center 4-Patch that's surrounded by light fabric strips to frame the flower's centers. The Star block is completed with light and dark half-square triangle units, and simple medium and dark value squares are added to the 4-Patch variation. Refer to the quilt photo for color placement or combine the florals to complement your own décor. To finish, stitch the one-inch and two-inch inner floral borders and piece the 6" outer border, alternating the light, medium, and dark prints as you like. Layer, and stitch in the ditch or do a fast meandering stitch through the garden! Looking for a quicker project? Just sew the nine center blocks together to make a 24" square table topper. Even easier, stitch four blocks together, cover a 16" pillow form, and you'll have a pillow to match your Garden Fantasy quilt.
