Old MacDonald's Farm
by Ingrid®
These cheerful fabrics by Ingrid® easily lend themselves to these two children’s projects! The quilt uses both the large and six small panel blocks as the focus of the design. The colorful dot coordinates are used as frames and in the four graduated borders. Checkerboard blocks add a lively touch while three strips of the repeating stripe separate the quilt sections. The 58” x 64” size is perfect as a large crib quilt but is also ideal to use as a play quilt. What child wouldn’t love to lay or sit on a quilt with such delightful motifs!

The organizer uses the six small panel blocks to make pockets to hold toys or baby essentials. It can be attached to the rungs of a crib or hung from a rod against the wall. The large panel block can be used to make one large pocket on the back, if desired. Rickrack and buttons add additional color and texture to the project. Two rows (leftover from the quilt) of the repeating stripe separate the two pocket rows.
