Delectable citrus colors and stylized patterns set the stage for this delightful group by Red Rooster Studios. They lend themselves perfectly to this medallion-style quilt designed by June Pease. Four pinwheel blocks create the center of the design and are repeated in the corners of the outer border.

The center section is built upon by adding frames of large triangles and border squares. The largest on-point square frame is created with rail-fence units to achieve a dynamic focal point for the quilt. This quilt is visually very active and would be balanced well with soft, overall quilting. If you’d like to use more defined quilting, the large setting triangles offer wonderful places to showcase some terrific patterns. Since the fabric patterns are strong in those areas, you could use specialty threads to bring more attention to the quilting itself.

The quilt measures 62” x 62”.
