Gudrun’s 69" x 82" quilt uses fifteen different prints in the twenty blocks, the sashing, and the cornerstones. For a less scrappy look, select a single print for all the sashing and one for all the cornerstones. If you prefer, you can brighten this quilt by substituting one of the medium-scale florals on a yellow or gold ground for the dark green border and binding.
