The pretty floral master print is showcased in the 9" squares-on-point in this bed size 71¼" x 88¼" quilt. June Pease designed and pieced the quilt and Pamela Burnham machine quilted it. The pieced sashing was made by sewing half-square triangle units together into 3" hourglass blocks. June’s clear instructions tell you how to join the rows using three hourglass blocks between the floral squares and then exactly how many blocks to join for each sashing row. You can make this quilt larger by increasing the width of the borders (don’t forget to buy more yardage!) or make it smaller by omitting one or two borders. This quilt is easy enough for a confident beginner to stitch. Remember to handle the long bias edges of the outer setting triangles carefully to minimize stretching them. You’ll also find a Bonus Pattern included. It’s a great looking 21¼" x 55¼" table runner that uses just three squares of the floral print and the hourglass block sashing around the squares.
