This Tree of Life quilt with machine appliquéd vines and leaves in the corners was designed and stitched by Laura Blanchard and machine quilted by Valerie Schlake. The 60" x 60" quilt uses fabrics from both the Quintet Essentials collection and our beautiful Tokyo texture line. The tree blocks represent winter, spring, summer, and fall. Laura tells you how to sort the fabrics to match the seasons, and she encourages you to use your own color interpretation as you cut squares for the half-square triangle units. She also recommends using a tearaway stabilizer to avoid puckering when machine appliquéing the vines and leaves. Add a sleeve to the back and hang from a decorative wood rod with finials to complete the natural theme. Level: Very confident beginner and beyond. This quilt requires accurate cutting and consistent seam allowances!
