The main character in Jennifer’s tenth novel, The Quilter’s Homecoming (Simon & Schuster, April 2007), is Elizabeth Bergstrom Nelson. The story of her life inspired the floral, art deco, and wave designs in this collection. She moves to an apricot orchard in California as a newlywed during the Roaring 20s, where she plays an important role in the apricot harvest. In addition to the apricot floral print, there’s an art deco fan and a geometric print representing Frank Lloyd Wright glass. A wave design representing the Pacific Ocean, and meandering vines representing the barley crop complete the collection.
